The Anne Frank connection

Ernst’s best friends at school in Berlin were Peter Schiff and Fritz Gluckstein. It turned out the Peter had a small but important place in history. The story was laid out in two Guardian articles and we will not spoil the story by repeating it here, but let you read it for yourselves.
